Collaborative Book Submission Guidelines

Poetic Essence Publications invites writers, poets, and storytellers to contribute to our Collaborative (Collab) Book Projects. These projects bring together multiple voices under a common theme and offer a professionally published platform for both new and emerging authors.

Who Can Submit

  • First-time writers and aspiring authors
  • Published and unpublished writers
  • Poets, storytellers, and creative writers
  • Writers aged 18 years and above

Genres Accepted

  • Poetry
  • Short Fiction
  • Flash Fiction
  • Personal Essays
  • Memoirs (short-form)
  • Inspirational & Thematic Writing

(Specific genres may vary based on the collab theme.)

Submission Requirements

  • Original, unpublished work only
  • Submissions must align with the announced theme
  • Content must not infringe copyright or contain plagiarized material
  • Language: English / Hindi / Regional languages (as specified per project)

Word Limit

  • Poetry: 20–40 lines
  • Short Fiction / Essays: 800–1,500 words
  • Flash Fiction: Up to 500 words

(Exact limits will be mentioned in the collab announcement.)

Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Times New Roman or Calibri
  • Font Size: 12 pt
  • Line Spacing: 1.15 or 1.5
  • File Format: DOC / DOCX
  • Include Author Bio (50–80 words) and a profile photo (optional)

What Authors Receive

  • Publication in an ISBN-registered collaborative book
  • Professionally edited and designed publication
  • Author name and contribution credited
  • Complimentary author copy / e-certificate (as per package)
  • Distribution across selected online marketplaces

Important Notes

  • Editorial decisions are final
  • Minor edits may be made for clarity and consistency
  • Submission does not guarantee selection
  • Selected authors will be notified via email

Rights & Copyright

  • Authors retain full copyright of their individual work
  • Poetic Essence Publications holds non-exclusive rights for publication and distribution within the collab book
