Poetic Essence Publications follows a transparent and fair refund policy. Please read the conditions carefully before making any purchase or availing services.

1. Publishing & Service Refunds

All publishing and allied services are non-refundable once initiated. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Manuscript evaluation or review
  • Editing, proofreading, formatting
  • Cover design and layout
  • ISBN registration
  • Printing coordination
  • Marketing and promotional services

Exceptions

A refund may be considered only if:

  • The service has not yet been initiated, and
  • A written refund approval is provided by Poetic Essence Publications

Refund decisions are final and binding.

2. Product (Books) Refunds

Refunds for physical books are not provided.

However, replacements may be issued under specific conditions (see Return Policy below).

3. Payment Processing

  • Refunds, if approved, will be processed to the original payment method
  • Processing time: 7–10 working days
  • Transaction or gateway charges, if any, are non-refundable

Cancellation Policy

1. Publishing Projects

  • Publishing projects cannot be cancelled once confirmed
  • No cancellations are permitted after work has started
  • Pausing or withdrawal of a project does not entitle the Author to any refund

2. Book Orders

  • Book orders cannot be cancelled once placed and processed
  • Customers are requested to verify order details carefully before confirming payment

3. Event / Anthology Participation (If Applicable)

  • Fees paid for anthologies, contests, or events are non-refundable and non-transferable
  • Withdrawal after submission will not result in any refund

Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed after successful payment confirmation
  • Processing time: 3–5 working days
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed on the next working day

2. Delivery Timelines

  • Estimated delivery within India: 7–14 working days
  • Delivery timelines may vary depending on:
    • Location
    • Courier partner
    • Weather, strikes, or unforeseen circumstances

3. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges, if applicable, will be clearly communicated at checkout or during order confirmation
  • Charges may vary based on delivery location and order quantity

4. Courier Partners

We use reliable third-party courier and logistics partners for deliveries.
Poetic Essence Publications is not responsible for delays caused by courier companies.

5. Incorrect Address / Failed Delivery

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details
  • Re-shipping costs due to incorrect address or failed delivery attempts will be borne by the customer

Return Policy

1. Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted only in the following cases:

  • Book received is damaged during transit, or
  • Incorrect book delivered

2. Return Conditions

  • Return request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
  • Clear photos or videos of the damaged or incorrect product must be shared
  • Product must be unused and in original condition

3. Resolution

  • Upon approval, a replacement copy will be issued
  • Refunds for books are not provided
